Every year in the weeks leading up to SolidWorks World, we give attendees a chance to learn about some of our Solution Partners attending the event and setting up booths in the Partner Pavilion. Our partners play a big role in making the event great every year, and they always come with some of the newest technology and tools that help make SolidWorks users more productive. Anark is leading the 3D Model Based Definition (MBD) & Model Based Enterprise (MBE) paradigm shift. Our goal is to dramatically improve how design, manufacturing and suppliers work together by eliminating the need for 2D drawings, promoting high fidelity design information transfer and reuse through free to view and deploy 3D PDF and 3D HTML and enabling our customers to quickly create fit for purpose (template based) engineering release and process documents driven by their 3D SolidWorks parts and assemblies.

Anark and its resellers sell MBEWorks, which runs as a plug-in for SolidWorks, and Anark Core Server, which connects to Enterprise PDM for the generation of workstation and batch-oriented 3D PDF and 3D HTML documents respectively.

MBEWorks will enable SolidWorks users to move into a complete 3D MBE allowing them to eliminate 2D drawings and 2D paper processes from their design, manufacturing and supplier operations.  Eliminating 2D drawings has been shown to save an operation up to 30% in engineering costs, and deploying 3D MBE practices allows manufacturing and suppliers to respond up to 50% faster to engineering requirements.
