I drew this part and want to go back to where I started( 2D part) to change dimensions and edit the part, how can I do that?
Categories: Drawings and Detailing
Can you attach the *.sldprt file here?
Can you attach your model?
I see we think a like.
First of all, you said "when I drew this part". That looks like a screenshot of a 3d model, so while I could be wrong, but if that's the case then you modeled it as opposed to drawing it. I just wanted to clarify that. It might help in the future.
Now that I have that out of the way, how you edit the dimensions will depend on how it was created. If it was something simple, like an extrude, click on the feature in the tree and choose the "Edit sketch" icon. That will open the sketch used to create it. Edit it as needed and close it and you're done. If it's a dimension in the extrude itself you want to edit, then instead of choosing the "Edit sketch" icon you'd choose the "Edit feature" icon instead, which will take you back to the feature's Property Manager where you can make your edits.
If the feature was more complex, such as a Sweep or Loft, and used multiple sketches, then expand the feature in the tree to show the sketches, click on the appropriate one, and again choose the "Edit sketch" icon.
Does this help? And if it doesn't, can you please give us some more information?
