Hi everyone!

I am looking for a macro or add-on that runs in the background and everytime I click save in a drawing file it also saves a pdf with the same name in the same location. Trying to not have to click save and click another button to save the pdf. Please know I have zero experience with macros. Any help would be great.

Re: macro or add-on to save drawing as pdf

Jeffrey, if you can use a button or shortcut key to run a macro which would save the drawing and create the PDF in same go, then try the macro from this post: https://forum.solidworks.com/message/200992#comment-200992

With this the macro would only create PDFs for the drawings you want (i.e. you save thru this macro).
