I updated to SW 2018 from SW 2017 and the measure tool has changed. Has anyone else noticed this, or has a setting changed? The dimensions or angle does not show up in the measure box.

It does in my install.

Try expanding the dialogue box.

Hi Tim,

I checked my 2018 measure tool and got this.

2018 before expanding measure box.png

Which is what I believe you're  seeing.

Then I grabbed the bottom edge of the dialog box and pulled it down and got this.

2018 after expanding measure box.png

The moral of the story is, try expanding your measure dialog box and see if you get the same result.

Hope this helps!

Rick has good advice.  SWX made some significant improvements to the Measure tool.  It was even discussed at the 2018 roll-out I went to.

Thank you, now I feel dumb. But it's all good.

No need to feel dumb, it took me a while to realize I needed to expand the box.

Then I came back here and posted then re-read Kelvin Lamport's post and realized he had already given us the solution.
