Hi All, I got an error when exporting report. If I use non-variable measurement value (Pass, Marginal, or Fail) on SW Inspection and then I export it to excel, Why non-variable measurement value (Pass, Marginal, or Fail) become to zero “0”??? You can see the details in the ScreenShot below.

Re: Problem when exporting non-variable measurement value (Pass, Margin, and Fail) to excel template.

Hi Riandro,

I've just done the same using one of SOLIDWORKS example files and the output looks good for me. (see below)

Have you made any changes to the template? Would you be able to share the project?

Re: Problem when exporting non-variable measurement value (Pass, Margin, and Fail) to excel template.

Assuming your template is still the same, edit the template and the value in the top cell of that row should be:

iex:INSPECTIONXPERT/INSPECTION_SHEET/ATTRIBUTES/ATTRIBUTE/Measurements/Measurement/@Value

Hi McEwen,

You can download my project in link below

Forum.rar - Google Drive

I have also defined iex:INSPECTIONXPERT/INSPECTION_SHEET/ATTRIBUTES/ATTRIBUTE/Measurements/Measurement/@Value in my template.

Hi Riandro,

I downloaded your project and opened it, publishing to the forum.xlt template you provided but the output was as you'd expect. (please see images below)

Re: Problem when exporting non-variable measurement value (Pass, Margin, and Fail) to excel template.

It might be worth repairing the software, Riandro.

Hi Riandro,

Hi Riandro,

Thanks. Could you let me know what version of SW Inspection and Excel you are using?

Thanks,

Matt

Re: Problem when exporting non-variable measurement value (Pass, Margin, and Fail) to excel template.

Hi Matt.,

For SW Inspection I am using SW Inspection 2017 SP4 and for ExceI I am using MS Excel 2010.

Re: Problem when exporting non-variable measurement value (Pass, Margin, and Fail) to excel template.

Hi Riandro,

Based on your information all this should work fine.

It is probably related to a specific setup. I would recommend at this point that you reach out to your reseller and they can then connect with our Tech Support team. They will be better prepared to investigate this and gather more information about your system. They can then try to reproduce this in our environment and submit a bug ticket if needed.

You might want to also load the results on a different sheet and see if that works better.
