Could you please provide the picture to depict correctly?
Right click on 'Annotations' at the top of your Feature Tree and then select the check mark next to 'Display Annotations'
Your idea is wonderful...!!
But, can I able to get auto dimension for all the part without fiddling for each and every part?
Right click here and then click on Display Annotations............
That is of course if my understanding is correct that you want the dimensions to appear along with the solid model..............
Make sure annotation views are selected:
Whoops........ My bad!
I believe what you want to do is dimension your completed model. If so then use the smart dimensioning tool and select Reference dimension. You have to fiddle with it a bit in order to get the things like you want. For instance select an edge, or edge and face, or two faces etc.
Edit:.. Of course you can also change the font, size & color to whatever you like.
You got him what he wanted Dave.. I was thinking that the poster was more concerned about the position. . Silly me.
But your idea also workable for my future assignments. Thanks for good information.
Try fiddling around with the dim expert auto dimensioning and see it that will work for you.
Haha, I saw your reply and thought I'd misconstrued the question Dennis!
As long as he got what he wanted....................
It is giving tolerances too, that is not required.
