Curious how to get information from my other sheets of the drawing to show on the drawing data cards. Everything shows up on the @ tab, Data is being pushed from model into the cards, 9In all reality I could careless for the @ tab.

From Drawing Data Card

This is my Model Data card with info from the configurations within the model. Notice the description in this case is different from -1 and -2 config.

Sometimes are material, finish and inventory maybe different from -1 and -2 configs and Id like my drawing data card to reflect that as well, i think this is different than using the $PRPSHEET in the Variables as these are configuration specific,

Re: Drawing Data Card with configurations

Hello Gary, the @ tab on drawing data cards is a bit of a misnomer and causes more confusion than I care to mention .

Unfortunately, while you can multiple sheets in a drawing (hence the multiple tabs) you cannot have sheet specific properties like you can have configuration specific properties.

Kind regards

Re: Drawing Data Card with configurations

Hi Gary, unfortunately not. Just like the Default tab in parts and assembly data cards, you will always have atleast one Sheet tab (Sheet1)

Kind regards

Re: Drawing Data Card with configurations

Agreed!  I think the sheet tabs were added way back when to support bill of materials in PDM which we do not use.  Bill Of Materails is another tab you should be able to turn off in explorer and the search window.

Both the sheet tabs in the data card and the Bill of Materials tab should be admin options instead of being a hindrance to all that do not use the Bill Of Material function in PDM.  For another workaround I guess I could create a column set to stop this from happening.
