Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to Motion Anaylsis and I've run into a problem. I'm working on a project where I need my robot to pick up various objects, all of which have been easily done with mates and 3d Contacts. However, now I must pick up a dowel.
I have a motor applying force on the driver gear with contacts on the larger gears, but what would be the best way to grab this dowel? Is 3D contacts an option? Or should I just have a hidden assembly with a dowel fixed in place? If that is the best way to go at it, how do I make sure it's exact?
