When using Solidworks Task Scheduler, does anyone know how to include the revision number of the drawing to the file name when I export drawings to DXF or DWG files? Did you become an answer to this question?

Ever since we updated to 2017 Solidworks we've had an issue with printing using task scheduler. Solidworks no longer wants to print all drawing from the same Solidworks instance. When using the task scheduler 2016 Solidworks to print multiple drawing it would do the following:

Is it possible to change a custom property type from 'text' to 'date' using task scheduler? I don't want to change the value only the type. Is this part of drawing template?

Hello Solidworks community, I have been trying to use Task Scheduler to do simple tasks (convert/update files mostly) with mixed results. Quite often I simply get an error message like this:

I have one computer that will not run the Solidworks scheduled tasks. I am attempting to print out multiple drawings using the Solidworks Task Scheduler. This successfully works on one computer, so I know it is not the files or the way I am doing it. Essentially, the scheduled task never runs, always staying at a status of "Scheduled".

We have started using task scheduler to batch convert our product drawings to dwg and pdf. PDF works great, but the notes move from their original location when you open the dwg in autocad. we have a ton of customers that use dwg's and haven't moved to solidworks. has anyone else had this issue?

Task Scheduler System options I have been running tasks to create drawings and have noticed that it does not appear to be using my system options, I assume the task is running as a default or admin user. I am wondering if anyone can tell me which so I can adjust the system options to stop showing tangent edges when I automate the task.

Task Scheduler - I am trying to Run a Custom Task. If I run the swp file it works fine, however if I convert to .swb file the macro does not run. I need to run as an .swb to take advantage of task parameters.

is there a way in task to convert a sheet metal flat pattern to dxf from the part file not the drawing. I would like to automate this in the workflow so files can be sent to the plasma cutter faster Can the plasma cutter read a dwg format?

I am wondering if it is possible to take a part that has configurations and be able to run a batch file or something to be able to open the file, activate the config, save it as a new part, delete all other configs and then save the part one last time. We have a bunch of parts with a lot of configs that we want to clean up and create all new seperate files for each config without having to do it manually.

While doing pack and go date was not change but for reference I want it to be updated. Using Task Scheduler will work very well, you can update an entire folder or just a file

Does anyone know if it is possible to drive a task scheduler print job from a list file? Basically, a list of the files you want printed, in whatever format - TXT, CSV, XLS, etc. This would be very helpful for our existing internal process when releasing a job.

I want to run a Macro for the assemblies in a folder. The Macro should save the existing assemblies into part [Save assembly as part].

I've been successfully running Solidworks 2015 SP4 on Windows 10 (although I have to run it in Windows 8 compatibility mode because otherwise the open dialog crashes). If I try to schedule a task in the scheduler, however, this gives an error: An invalid argument was encountered. This happens as-soon-as have browsed and added files in the 'task files and folders' dialog. From that point on, it doesn't matter what I try;

We just updated to Windows 10 last week and today I tried using Task Scheduler and it just sits there. Did a screen share with our VAR and he recommended a clean uninstall and then re-install, which our IT guy was almost ready to install SP4 - Did anyone else run into this?

I got an error message that said "A required resource is unavailable." which leads me to believe there is a critical TS file missing. Perhaps a bad install? So how would I go about reinstalling it?
