This happens on everything I animate in Visualize. Am I doing something wrong? Whenever I duplicate a keyframe and move it over to the right it changes all the settings around. I need parts to remain stationary for a selected time then start moving again later in the timeline.
For those of you who may or may not have seen the SOLIDWORKS Blog post on the updates in Visualize 2017 sp02, I thought I'd make a little video to highlight more specifically what these changes in sp02 are all about. See the link below. Hope you enjoy.

How do I change the pivot center of a group? I want the pivot center to be at the base of the group, not the exact center. Is there a way to hold alt and shift and drag the transform box to relocate the pivot center? Or some other similar combination of buttons?
I know that currently the VR from SolidWorks Visualize Pro does not work natively with Internet Explorer , which is a pretty big deal for any website that has some level of IE traffic....so all of them. that being said I am wondering if anyone has been able to find a work around for the IE issue or if this issue is being fixed in a future SP or release?
Hello, i was wondering if anyone has tried a Razer Core or other TB3 egpu with a 7710/ 5510 etc? there are reports of sucsess with xps laptops with the razer core. The idea of adding additional gpu processing to a laptop for Solidworks Visualize is very interesting. Could use an internal m5000m along side a p6000/ 1080 etc.
For the users of Solidworks Visualize PRO (and more exactly the people who use the VR), you have can be noticed that the file HTLM adapts itself automatically to the size of the window of your Web browser (what is disturbing in 90 % of the cases) . I set my enabled lights to follow and aim at my model. When I turn the turntable on during preview mode they do exactly that, however when I render a turntable they do not follow the model, the render outputs as if they were stationary. I think I know what's going on.
I have Visualize 2017 and have been given files from Solidworks 2016. How do I import the motion studies? I found somewhere that you need the visualize plugin within solidworks. Where do I find that plugin and give to the drafters to install?
When I output a render as VR and then go into the browser to manipulate it the model spins around an invisible center point (similar to Earth orbiting the Sun). Nothing changes when I change the pivot center by click on Pivot Center...model/environment (and choosing Model). What options do I have?
Section Views I may have missed something but as I understand the cutting plane / section view functionality in Visualize merely cut the mesh of the model but does not cap it off resulting in being able to see into a hollow body with zero thickness walls. This is well illustrated in the below screen cap from SOLIDWORKS 2017 – A Little More Visualization #SOLIDWORKS #VISUALIZE |

Here is the same model rendered on both platforms; a candy dispenser for a shopping center. Clearly, the PV is better (lighter background). Yes, the perspective is slightly different, the back plates are different.
