Is there still not a library to download from sworks for standard ball valves? Ive worked with routing now and then creating simple spools. Mostly lwn flanges welded to pipe and also weld the components together where piping is not req'd(weld tees to elbows, reducers, flanges).

Pipe Routing Custom Elbow I am having difficulty with a custom pipe routing elbow. I created the part and set it up through the routing component wizard.

New to routing here. I have done a pack and go on an existing assembly and now need to make changes on each spool. Some spools open with no issues and others open like the one below:

Flange/Pipe takeoff Is there any way to change the default takeoff when you place a flange on routed pipe? 1/4" is not the right takeoff for STD pipe at all.

Hello everyone! I don't know if it's been already asked (I didn't find anything) but I need to connect a PVC DIN 8062 pipe to a water pump outlet with a EN 1092-2 flanges. Though I can connect varius flanges types from the routing libraries, I can't find a suitable one because in their configuration hasn't been set up the "right" pipe.

I recently started to use Solidworks Routing Add-in with SW2017. It's pretty messy sometimes and not very intuitive but it's definitely disappointing when a warning doesn't show up to help a user fix or understand what's wrong. Last thing I don't get it's why my example route (pics attached) has virtual pipes misaligned while the elbows have been put by the outer diameter after the bend radius have been automatically created.

I am trying to add insulation to a pipe. I can go through all the steps to make it, apply it to pipe, see it shaded around my pipe. When I go back to my assembly view from the edit route option, my covering is not there. I read that you need to check a box for the covering to appear in the drawing, but I cannot find where this box I need to check is.

It looks good until I select the configuration, then the valve moves and lines up the RPoints instead of lining up the valve CPoint with the flange RPoint. I figured it out. In some of the configurations the RPoint was suppressed.

On some of my harnesses I need just one connector and stripped ends on the other end. Is there is a recommended way to do this? On this example, I manually added extrusions to the ends:

When we use connectors that are a housing with their terminals sold separately, we need to track those two items separately in inventory. Other than manually entering additional lines in my BOM list in the drawing, I can't figure out a good way to include my contacts as separate line items. Does anyone else have a good system for including the contacts for each connector in their BOM?

I am currently somewhat stuck with what I think is an issue with my current setup. I have a case which contains two different parts (both are defined as routing parts through the wizard and have the appropriate connection points). Now I would like to create an assembly of those three parts.

The more I'm trying to use FOF dimensioning the more I seem to notice that it has limitations. Namely in my experience you'll see things going awry if you happen to use a dimension from one face of flange to another. The problem isn't with that dimension but if however later in the route you for instance want to remove pipe between the second flange and an elbow chances seem to be bigger that you'll get overdefined or other errors.

I just started playing around with the routing add-on and am planning to make a simple piping diagram. However I keep getting this error with the flange I select to start of my modelling. Not sure where I'm going wrong.

Custom Tube/Pipe parts with additional features I'm attempting to create a custom tube part that includes tri-clamp/flanged on both ends of the run. However, the extra extrusions for the flanges don't make it to the part when attempting to create the route, and subsequent features error.

Pin meaning in routing drawing is wrong, now it is "销钉"(xiaoding) a standart part used in machine, but the correct meaning in Chinese is "引脚" (yinjiao) a part of connector in circuit. Please modify it in next version of update.

I have two starting points with the same diamter. The autoroute results looks valid, as you see in the screenshot. However when I exit the 3D sketch the route disappears and no cables are being redered. What might cause this?
