Sorry for my very bad English. I learn to create injection molds using a standard sequence of instruments (as in a well-known educational lesson with the housing of the handset). I have no problem with creation of cavity and core for the one part, even if have to edit the surface manually.
Hello Friends, I need your help... I have a mold tool in parasolid format. the part data is changed and I want to use new part data in the place of existing part data. How can I generate new core and cavity profile. Mold tool is not designed using solidworks.
I am a Plastic & Die casting parts designer, So I use Draft Analysis tool more frequently. I am using Solidworks 2014, facing problem with Draft Analysis tool It working initially after that not opening even Clicking on this Tool.
I've created a Master model to create the overall shape of a plastic enclosure, then used Split feature to save off front and rear halves. Then added all the necessary detail to the two halves in their individual part files. And made an assembly from those part files.
I wanted to know that can we prepare spiral shape cooling channel for any bottle shape product for plastic simulation? I have generated conventional or straight line cooling channel but not able to import and generate spiral shape cooling channel in solid works plastic.
Fibre Orientation is it possible to extract the fibre orientation information of a user-defined position? In Particular, i need the values of the second- order orientation tensor (a11,a22, a33) as a function of the thickness.
When desiging a plastic casing which will be injected in a mold, what are good design practices ? Should I for instance incorporate in the early conception stages the draft angles or should I add them at the end ? Same question for the radius. Initially, I was putting some directly in sketches but has since then realised it's a lot faster and offer more degree of freedoms to add them at the end of the construction tree with the fillet function.
I like to 3D printing this robot: GG96 Robot in small size (about 12*12*12 mm) and want to directly connect rear wheels to a DC motor that I will put inside the down box, but don't know how to connect front wheels(they will be free). Also I like to put 2 micro servo motors in middle box and connecting the arms to them, but I have no idea about this connections too!
Hiii, I have made a plastic enclosure using the boss extrude and cut features, but I need to give it for plastic molding and since its has sharp edges due to the used features, so how to make for molding? It's very hard to suggest anything related to your question without a picture or actual part you created.
I need a "block" with the surface having the shape of a big, complex part, very similar to this one (but rotated 180°) https://www.callparts.de/sites/default/files/productimages/MAS11001215171033/2386656.jpg The block, or mold, has to have the exact shape of the part so the part can be positioned on it very accurately.
