I'm performing a study and I'm measuring pressure at a point. I've added a point goal to the edge of a circle which creates a point at its center, for convergence control and to monitor the values during the calculations.. Comparing the value from the goal to the value from a point parameter at the exact location yields me completely different values...

I inserted a preview of pressure and temperature while solver is running, the problem is on display, in fact, the scale in the preview shows high values of temperature and pressure even if these values are not reached . Anyone knows why? just adjust the scale.

I'm getting very strange numbers running a simulation using a fan defined from the manufacturers datasheet - the numbers are much too high. I have a relatively simple tubular enclosure with an External Inlet Fan on one lid and Environment Pressure boundary condition on the other lid. Fluid is air, all pressures are std atmospheric, all other parameters are left at their defaults.

How do I figure out the volume flow rate through an opening? I try insert a surface for the opening, but can't use that surface for a surface goal or for surface parameter. Thanks. -Patrick

I want to add some volumic heat sources with formula definition which should contain step function ,but i can't find how to add the step function, i tried with inserting an equation goal that contains step function,it seems like the step function isn't recognised by Solidworks! You have three choices here to define VHS as constant, formula or dependent to a goal (table). See if it helps.

I'm trying to figure out how to properly model multiple light bulbs, with wattages ranging from 35W to 1000W, as heat sources. I've read that some like to put the the wattage on as a surface source on the light bulb model and others like to model the light bulb and apply the wattage as a volume heat source. My issue with both is I am getting unreasonable results when they are being mounted in a fixture to measure how much heat is generated when multiple light sources are reflecting on one

Hello everyone, I have a problem when performing the simulation of two fluids in Flow Simulation. I have designed a cooling system with two independent pipes; One tube is copper and carries refrigerant gas and the other tube is stainless steel and carries hot potable water. The copper tube is spiraled around the stainless steel tube which is straight.
